I belive the people who suffer from morgellons. When I first started reading the article is was a little wierded out by it. Reading the whole things there are many stroies and things that many people seem to experirence. I guess you could say this is my sense of empatht shining through, but is it? Thinking back to price ya I can kinda just see what they are going through but will I truly know what they are? I think Jamison article tries to tell us to use our empathy.These people are not making up this disease that they have, it is truly there but we cannot see it. Jamison says “Wherever you go the disease follows, what ever you do, it resists.” That is honestky quite horrible. These people seem trapped with absolutely no way to escape. A big part of this trap is because they think they are all alone. If they were treated as patients with cancer, or another disease, they woulndt feel so locked down by it. To further show my empathy I am not really to sure of what I can do other than believe these people. Jamison wants empathy to be alive and real.
