I do not have a lot of experince with peer review but I have been able to develop some more confidence in it after peer reviewing three papers for this class. When peer reviewing I make gloabal revision comments as well as local revision comments. For all three papers I have read and reviewed maggies papers. On all of the paper I feel I have been helpful and helped improve her paper. I am always trying to help her make her papers flow as best as they can. On maggie’s most recent paper I was able to hlep her better get evidence from her scientfic article. She direct went into a quote about her article where as I recomended that she not just use the quote but provide some backround. Providing backround would lead to less confusion for the reader as well as a more consistent flow for the paper. Through peer reviewing others it allows me to review my own papers and have greater confidence in doing so. I have realized errors in my paper after I peer review another one. Peer reviewing has opened up my view and I will try to use it in the future. By doing so I will maybe try to partner up with someone in a given clas and share our papers with eachother. Doing this will allow me to help others, but also better myself.
